Bill Bonneywell grew 700 seedlings a year in Snohomish County and named 45 of them. Snoho Tammie, introduced in 1986, was one of his earliest. Soft pink, round, and even, it carries the hallmark of the whole Snoho line: a bloom built for the show table that holds up just as well in the garden. Collectors who know the Bonneywell name reach for this one specifically.

How to Grow It

Plant in full sun after your last frost date. Pinch the central growing tip when your plant has three to four sets of leaves to push side branching and more stems. Stake early before the plant needs it. Cut when blooms are three-quarters open and condition overnight in cool water.
