It started with Café au Lait. Every spring, the same fruitless search. Local nurseries sold out before the season even started, big-box stores carried the same five varieties they always do, and the growers who actually had the tubers I was looking for were buried across Facebook groups with no consistent way to buy. You'd find someone selling exactly what you wanted, send a DM, wait days for a reply, and hope PayPal held it together. There had to be a better way. The Dahlia Hub exists because it shouldn't be this hard to buy from the people who grow the best dahlias.

We're a marketplace built for dahlia growers and collectors. Search named varieties, find the people who actually grow them, and buy direct. No middlemen, no mystery.

Why we built it this way

Small dahlia growers are some of the most knowledgeable people in horticulture. They spend years selecting, growing, and labeling tubers, then hand over 15% to a third-party platform just to reach the people who want them. That's backwards. We charge a small platform fee to keep the services running, plus Stripe's standard payment processing fee. Both are clearly shown before you pay, and together they're less than you'd pay on other platforms. Stripe is the same payment platform used by Amazon, Google, and Shopify, and your card details never touch our servers. The grower keeps more of what they earn, the buyer pays a fair price, and we make the connection possible.
