1. Using The Dahlia Hub

By creating an account, you're agreeing to these terms. We've tried to keep them short and plain. If anything feels unclear, just ask us. We'd rather explain than have someone confused.

2. If you're buying

• Give the seller an accurate shipping address when you order.
• If something goes wrong with your order, reach out to the seller first. They know their product best.
• Tubers are living plants. They're seasonal and perishable, and availability varies by year and grower.

3. If you're selling

• Only list tubers, cuttings, or related products you grew yourself or have the right to sell.
• Ship what you promised, when you promised it. If something changes, communicate with the buyer early.
• Label your varieties accurately. The dahlia community takes this seriously, and so do we.
• Follow USDA and your state's rules for shipping plant material across state lines.

4. Fees

We charge a small platform fee on each sale to keep The Dahlia Hub running and improving. It's less than what you'd pay on most other platforms. Payments are processed through Stripe, one of the most trusted and secure payment platforms in the world, used by companies like Amazon, Google, and Shopify. Stripe charges their standard processing fee of 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction, which goes directly to them. We don't mark that up. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice before changing our platform fee.

5. What's not allowed

• Mislabeling varieties or selling tubers you know are incorrectly identified.
• Taking payments outside the platform to avoid fees.
• Manipulating reviews or community ratings.

6. Our role

We're the marketplace. We connect buyers and sellers, but we're not part of individual transactions. If a shipment goes wrong, we'll step in to help work things out, but we can only be responsible up to the platform fees collected on that order. We're a small team doing our best.
