Bargaly Blush was bred in United Kingdom by R. J. Farley in 2002. Bargaly Blush opens a rich, dark rose-pink that lightens toward the center, with tightly layered petals forming a textbook formal globe. It emerged as a sport of Scaur Swinton and brings the same prolific, long-stemmed habit in a warmer, deeper shade. It also holds its form on the show bench.

Growing Bargaly Blush

Plant in full sun in fertile, well-drained soil. Pinch the central shoot once several leaf pairs have formed to encourage branching and heavier production. Stake early given the tall habit, and deadhead regularly to keep blooms coming. Lift tubers after the first frost and store in a cool, dry spot through winter.

Spacing
Space roughly 2–3 ft apart
Staking
Stake early — stems carry heavy blooms and lean in wind
