Formal Decorative · 6–9"Light BlendGebr. Verwer (1998)Netherlands

Ace Summer Sunset is a formal decorative dahlia that opens 6–9" blooms with Light Blend coloring. It burns across a bucket like a low August sun, pulling every eye in the room before you reach the register. The petals shift from deep coral orange at the tips through gold toward the center, a color change you cannot fake with dye. It was bred in Netherlands by Gebr. Verwer in 1998.

Growing Ace Summer Sunset

Give your plant a tall stake early. The stems are sturdy but the blooms are heavy, and a well-supported plant holds its heads up without flopping. Pinch above the third set of leaves once the plant is established to push side shoots and extend your cutting season through summer and into fall. It performs best in full sun with consistent moisture.

Spacing: Space roughly 2–3 ft apart
Staking: Staking recommended once buds set
