20th Ave Softer Peach is a formal decorative dahlia that opens 4–6" blooms in pink. Petals open in warm peach tones that lighten toward a papery coral edge, building into full, symmetrical heads that land easily in mixed bouquets. Rich Gibson selected this at 20th Avenue Dahlias in Oregon, and growers consistently report plants clearing four feet with strong laterals and plenty of blooms per stem. It was bred in United States by Rich Gibson in 2021.

Growing 20th Ave Softer Peach

Pinch plants at twelve to fourteen inches to build out strong laterals before the first buds set. Stake early, as plants easily clear four feet and the heads catch wind. Water consistently at the root zone and keep foliage dry to reduce mildew pressure. Feed with a balanced fertilizer through midsummer, then shift to lower nitrogen as buds develop to firm up petals and hold color.
