Growing Frost Nip

Plant in a sunny, well-drained spot after all frost danger has passed. Pinch out the central growing tip once you see four sets of leaves to push side branching and multiply your bloom count. Stake with a cage before it gets tall, since the large heads catch wind. Water consistently at the base rather than overhead to keep the petals clean. Cut in the morning when flowers are one-third to one-half open for the best holding time indoors.
