AC Casper is an informal decorative dahlia that opens 8–10" blooms in white. Broad pure-white blooms open with spiky reflexed petals that lengthen toward the back, giving each flower a draping silhouette above thick upright stems. Snohomish breeder Ken Greenway released this one in 2015, and it has stayed a fixture at serious exhibition tables ever since. It was bred in United States by Ken Greenway in 2015.

Growing AC Casper

Stake early because tall canes carry heavy dinner-plate heads that topple in wind. Pinch the tip at twelve inches to push lateral growth and steadier output. Disbud side shoots when you want competition-grade heads rather than garden abundance. Feed moderately through summer and watch for slugs around fresh basal shoots. Cut blooms just as outer rows finish unfurling for the cleanest white presentation.

Spacing: Space about 3 ft apart
Staking: Stake early — stems carry heavy blooms and lean in wind
