Set one stem on a table and watch people cross the room to look closer. Each petal carries its own map of fuchsia stripes and raspberry stipples over a soft coffee-pink base, and no two blooms read quite the same. Bred by Sarah Raven at Perch Hill and named for her daughter, it earned the RHS Award of Garden Merit for the full package: dark, moody flowers on near-black stems with foliage to match.

How to Grow It
Plant in full sun with rich, well-drained soil. Your plant is a tall grower, so stake early and tie in as it grows. Pinch the main stem above the third set of leaves to encourage branching and more stems per plant. Dark foliage and stems are characteristic, not a sign of stress. Keep cutting to keep it blooming from midsummer through the first frost.
