Growing Vino

Plant tubers in full sun once the ground has warmed and frost risk has passed. Pinch above the third set of leaves to promote branching and increase bloom count. Stake plants early, as stems can reach four feet and may lean in wind. Cut frequently to encourage continuous flowering; harvest when outer petals are fully open for the longest display. Lift and store tubers before the first hard frost.
