Hollyhill Frodo is a pompon dahlia that opens 1.4–2" blooms in flame. Some flowers whisper. Hollyhill Frodo announces itself with goldenrod petals kissed by cranberry at the tips and backs, giving each bloom a warm metallic glow that catches light from across the room. It was bred in United States by Ted and Margaret Kennedy in 2016.

Growing Hollyhill Frodo

Plant your tubers in full sun and give each one enough space for air to circulate freely. Pinch your plant early to encourage branching and more blooms per stem. Harvest when blooms are three-quarters open and sear the stem ends in very hot water before cooling completely. Your flowers will open beautifully and hold their shape in the vase.
