Bloomquist Arise produces wave after wave of mauve-pink blooms with extra-ruffled petaloids that curl and twist, giving each flower a playful, almost whimsical personality. Long, thick stems with dark foliage make it a reliable pick-and-come-again producer through the season. Bred by Paul Bloomquist of Lynden, Washington, it draws pollinators from the moment the first buds open. It comes from Paul Bloomquist in United States.

Growing Bloomquist Arise

Pinch when shoots reach about a foot tall to encourage branching and maximize stem count per plant. Stake at planting time, as these plants climb well above knee height and will lean without support. Water deeply on a consistent schedule, especially during hot stretches, and cut blooms early in the day when they are three-quarters open to get the longest freshness.

Spacing: Space roughly 2–3 ft apart
Staking: Stake early — stems carry heavy blooms and lean in wind
