Growing Golden Hour

Plant tubers in full sun after your last frost date, in a spot with well-drained soil. Pinch the central growing tip once six leaf nodes have formed to encourage branching and more blooms. Water deeply but infrequently, keeping the crown as dry as possible to avoid rot. Deadhead regularly to extend flowering. Lift tubers after the first frost blackens the foliage and store them in a cool, frost-free location over winter.
