Soft rose pink opens with a pale yellow flush at the petal base, a warm guava note that softens cottage borders and romantic bouquets. Pi Ensum closed his half-century of hybridizing in Tadworth with this quiet, rounded pink in 1993, one of the Hamari line's last releases. British gardeners and wedding florists keep returning to it for the exact shade peonies never quite deliver. It was bred in United Kingdom by Pi Ensum in 1993.

Stake early because the sturdy footstalks still appreciate support once blooms reach full weight. Pinch the growing tip at four true leaf pairs to multiply side shoots. Disbud hard if you want show-quality rounded blooms on long cutting stems. Watch for earwigs hiding inside the tightly packed florets and shake stems before bringing cuts indoors.
