Grower Profile
Difficulty
Ideal for
Growing Clearview Royal
Stake at planting and again once plants reach knee height because stems will push well above head-high in a good Pacific Northwest season. Pinch to one central shoot when plants hit about a foot tall to maximize branching. Cut blooms at three-quarters open and condition stems in hot water to extend their already reliable five-day hold in the cooler.
- Spacing
- Space about 3 ft apart
- Staking
- Stake early — stems carry heavy blooms and lean in wind
