Grow it once and you will understand the obsession. This bright coral-rose waterlily layers its petals in a way that draws the eye straight to the warm golden center, and the color deepens as autumn cools the air. Ted and Margaret Kennedy bred it for people who want a flower that performs in the garden and turns heads on the show table.

How to Grow It
Plant your tuber in full sun with rich, well-drained soil. Pinch the center shoot when your plant reaches knee height to encourage more branching and more blooms. Stake early. Your plant will reach head height by midsummer and needs support before the stems get heavy. Disbud side shoots if you want larger, show-quality blooms on your primary stems. Water deeply but infrequently, and keep up with regular fertilizing through midsummer to sustain your plant's prolific output.
