Impression Famosa is a collarette dahlia that opens 2–3" blooms in pink. Impression Famosa is a compact Dutch dahlia bred by Bergman in the Netherlands in 1992. Each bloom opens to flat outer petals in soft lavender-pink surrounding a ring of shorter cream-white inner petals and a warm yellow center that draws in bees and butterflies all season. It was bred in Netherlands by Bergman in 1992.

Growing Impression Famosa

Plant tubers in a full-sun spot after your last frost date, setting them a few inches deep with the eye facing up. Pinch the growing tip after four to six leaves appear to encourage branching and more blooms per plant. Water consistently but allow the soil surface to dry slightly between sessions to discourage rot. Feed with a balanced, low-nitrogen fertilizer once buds begin to form. Lift and store tubers after frost kills the foliage in autumn.
