Growing Impression Festivo

Plant tubers in a full-sun spot after your last frost date, setting them a few inches deep with the eye facing up. Pinch the growing tip when six leaves have formed to encourage a fuller shape and more blooms. Water consistently but let the soil surface dry slightly between waterings to keep roots healthy. Feed with a low-nitrogen fertilizer once buds form. Stake if your site is windy, though the compact habit usually holds up well on its own. Lift and store tubers after foliage is killed by frost.
