Growing Peaches and Dreams

Stake early because stems reach chest height and carry many laterals at once. Pinch the center shoot above the fourth leaf pair to push side branching. Feed with a low-nitrogen fertilizer once buds appear to keep color strong and stems sturdy. Water deeply at the base and mulch to steady soil moisture during hot spells, which helps preserve peach tones. Cut when outer petals are fully open for the cleanest color blend.
