Snoho Les was bred in United States by Bill Bonneywell (Snoho Dahlias) in 2011. Snoho Les produces small rounded heads that open in swirling lavender, purple, and white, with dark flecks shifting across each bloom so no two look the same from the same row. Bill Bonneywell introduced it in 2011, among his final additions to the Snoho line he built over three decades in Snohomish County, Washington. Snoho Les is a miniature ball dahlia that opens 2.5–3.5" blooms in lavender.

Growing Snoho Les

Pinch when new growth reaches about a foot tall and side shoots will multiply quickly. Stake at planting because the stems run long on a tall bush and the round heads catch the wind. Cut in the cool of early morning when the outer petals have just fully opened, since tightly closed buds in this form rarely finish opening once in water. Watch for color variation across the row -- some blooms tip darker toward purple, others lean lighter, so harvest at multiple stages for range in mixed arrangements. Feed lightly through summer and keep watering consistent to hold stem length through the heat.
