Formal Decorative · 4–6"PinkRich Gibson (2024)

20th Ave Pink Cloud was introduced by Rich Gibson in 2024. Morning light turns these blooms into soft clouds of smokey pink floating above the row. Each flower carries a faint wash of raspberry at the center, a smoldering warmth that shifts with the sun and reads almost terracotta up close. 20th Ave Pink Cloud is a formal decorative dahlia that opens 4–6" blooms in pink.

About 20th Ave Pink Cloud

A recent introduction (2024) that has begun appearing in commercial catalogues.

Growing 20th Ave Pink Cloud

Give it full sun and rich, free draining soil, then stake early because the stems load up with buds fast. Pinch the growing tip once a few leaf pairs form to push out more branching and even more color. Water deeply but let the surface dry between soakings, and deadhead often to keep the smokey pink show rolling until frost.

Spacing: Space roughly 2–3 ft apart
Staking: Stake early — stems carry heavy blooms and lean in wind
