Growing 20th Ave Tradition

Pinch above the fourth leaf pair once plants reach knee height to push branching and multiply stems. Stake early since tall plants loaded with blooms tip in wind. Feed with a low-nitrogen balanced fertilizer once buds show. Disbud side shoots to one bud per stem for tighter, rounder exhibition heads. Cut in the early morning when petals are still tightly closed at the back for the longest hold after harvest.
