Anemone · 3.5–3.9"WhiteNick GittsUnited States

Platinum Blonde is an anemone dahlia that opens 3.5–3.9" blooms in white. Pure white petals ring a pillow of pale gold florets that glow like whipped butter in morning light. That contrast between clean white and warm center is what makes it disappear first from the bucket. It comes from Nick Gitts in United States.

Growing Platinum Blonde

Plant your tubers after all frost risk has passed in full sun with rich, well-drained soil. Pinch the center shoot once your plant has several sets of leaves to encourage more branching and a bigger harvest. Stake early so your plant has support as it grows tall. Deadhead regularly to keep your plant producing through the season.

Spacing
Space roughly 2–3 ft apart
Staking
Stake early — stems carry heavy blooms and lean in wind
