Born at the château gardens in the Loire Valley, this Turc-bred French cultivar produces saucer-shaped blooms in a glowing blend of blush, peach, and soft pink that deepen toward the center. Plants push strongly to knee height and well beyond, bearing an exceptional flush of long-stemmed flowers from midsummer through frost. Holds its center longer than comparable flat-faced forms, making it a reliable performer in the cutting patch and romantic arrangements alike. It was bred in France by Ernest Turc in 2010.

Growing Chateau de la Bourdaisiere

Plant in full sun and stake early once plants reach knee height, well before they lean under the weight of blooms. Pinch at four to six leaf sets to encourage lateral branching and multiply stem count. Water consistently at the base and avoid wetting foliage to limit mildew pressure in humid spells. Cut stems in the cool morning once blooms are fully open for the longest post-harvest life.
