Cream Diane
The variety wedding florists grow before anyone else catches on.
One glance and you know this is something different. The buttery cream petals, each laid with clockwork precision, carry just the faintest whisper of blush at the heart. A sport found in 2016, it inherited the flawless Diane form from its UK lineage and refined it into something florists and show growers both claim as their own.

How to Grow It
Plant your tuber after the last frost in a full-sun position. Pinch your plant above several sets of leaves to encourage branching and more stems. This is a tall grower. Stake early and tie in as it rises. Your plant performs best under cover or in a polytunnel, where the pale cream color holds without browning. Disbud to a single head per stem if you are growing for exhibition; allow side buds to develop for cutting production. Consistent watering at the root zone, not overhead, keeps petals clean.
