A summer arrangement that stops guests mid-conversation. Each petal fades from fire-orange at the tip to a warm golden core, giving a single stem the visual range of an entire bouquet. Grown by flower farmers who need stems that hold up in the heat and last through the week.

How to Grow It
Plant tubers in full sun after your last frost date, in well-draining soil. Pinch early to encourage more stems and stake plants before they need it. Cut stems in the early morning when blooms are just beginning to open. In colder climates, lift and store tubers before the first hard freeze.
