Semi-Cactus · 10–11"OrangeKen Greenway (2010)United States

Petals swirl through peach, coral, and buttery yellow on heads the size of a dinner plate, glowing like late-afternoon light across the row. Ken Greenway released this one from his Snohomish breeding program in 2010, and it still anchors giant classes at shows across the Pacific Northwest. Exhibitors reach for it when they need scale that holds up all season. It was bred in United States by Ken Greenway in 2010.

Growing AC Ben

Stake at planting because the heads get heavy fast and a windy August will snap an unsupported cane. Pinch out the growing tip at about a foot tall to encourage lateral branching and steadier bloom count. Disbud side shoots hard if you want full giant-class heads rather than a generous garden display. Feed consistently through summer and keep water even once buds form. Cut early in the morning while the back petals are still firm.

Spacing
Space roughly 2–3 ft apart
Staking
Stake early — stems carry heavy blooms and lean in wind
