Growing Karma Irene

Pinch the central shoot when it reaches four to six leaf pairs to promote branching and a heavier stem count through the season. Stake at planting time so stems have support as they reach full height. Water consistently and keep soil evenly moist once buds begin to form. Lift tubers after the first hard frost and store in a cool, dry spot through winter.
