The white dahlia professional florists choose by name.

Ivory cream petals with a soft lime-green center that catches light the way no other white flower does. Bred in the Netherlands specifically for the cut flower trade, it ships longer and opens more reliably than almost anything else in the white category. Wedding florists, farmers market growers, and home arrangers all reach for it by name.

How to Grow It
Plant your tubers after your last frost date in a sunny spot with well-drained soil. Pinch the central shoot when your plant reaches about knee height to encourage a bushier habit and more stems. Keep soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Harvest blooms when one or two outer petals have opened but the center is still tight to extend the life of your cut flowers. Deadhead spent blooms regularly to keep your plant producing through autumn.
