KA's Coral Sea opens in a soft, smoky mauve early in the season before transitioning to peachy-coral with raspberry undertones and golden petal tips. Kristine Albrecht bred it for long, strong stems and prolific bloom production from Santa Cruz Dahlias. A high-volume producer that keeps florists and cut flower farmers coming back to it every season.

How to Grow It
Plant in full sun with well-drained soil. Stake your plants early as they fill out quickly in warm weather. Pinch the central shoot when young to encourage branching and more blooms. Cut frequently throughout the season. Harvest blooms in the cool of the morning before they are fully open. In hot climates, cut before blooms mature fully to prevent the center from blowing open.
