Growing La Luna

Plant tubers after the last frost date in full sun and well-drained soil, with the crown two to four inches deep. Stake early, as stems grow tall and benefit from support before they lean. Pinch the growing tip once plants reach twelve inches to encourage branching and a heavier bloom load. Water deeply and consistently, and feed with a low-nitrogen fertilizer once buds form. Deadhead spent blooms regularly to keep new flowers coming through the season.
