Mingus Randy
Cool white petals tipped in lavender. One stem says enough.
Cool white petals suffused with soft lavender toward the tips create a watercolor wash across each giant bloom. It comes into flower earlier than most large varieties, on tall upright stems that hold the enormous heads without leaning. Florists reach for it when the arrangement needs presence without noise.

How to Grow It
Stake firmly at planting time — tall sturdy stakes are essential to support the weight of blooms at this size class. Disbud side shoots to one central bud per stem for maximum bloom size. Pinch the central shoot early in the season to encourage branching and stronger lateral stems. Deadhead diligently to extend flowering through first frost.
