Moor Place was bred in United Kingdom by Alan Newnham in 1957. A British-bred show bench classic that has graced cutting gardens for over sixty years. Growing Moor Place

Pinch out the growing tip once four sets of leaves have formed to encourage branching and maximize flower count. Stake early, before the canopy fills out, using a ring or cage system that will support the lateral stems without crowding. Water deeply at the base once or twice a week rather than light daily irrigation to promote deep root development. Cut frequently to keep new buds coming; a stem is ready when two opposing buds on the same node have just begun to color.
