Growing Striped Nagano

Plant your tubers in a full-sun spot once the soil has warmed in spring. Give each plant plenty of room so air can move freely around the foliage. Water consistently but avoid saturating the soil. Pinch the growing tip early to encourage bushier plants and more blooms on your stems. In colder climates, dig your tubers after the first frost and store them in dry peat moss in a cool, frost-free spot through winter.
