Wyn's Moonlight Sonata is an informal decorative dahlia that opens 6–8" blooms in pink. Salmon, coral, and tangerine wash across every ruffled head, with no two blooms wearing the same mix. The color shifts with the light and the season, so the same row reads peach at noon and apricot at dusk. It was bred in United States by Walt and Cory Wynne in 2001.

Growing Wyn's Moonlight Sonata

Stake these early because the wavy heads catch wind and the stems will lean under their own weight. Pinch at the knee-high mark to push side branching. Cut when the outer petals have firmed up but the face is still tucked, and the blooms keep opening in water. Watch for petal sunburn in full afternoon heat.

Spacing: Space roughly 2–3 ft apart
Staking: Staking recommended once buds set
