Growing Clearview Edie

Stake at planting because your stems carry a lot of head and will bow in August wind. Pinch once your plant reaches knee height to encourage lateral branching and steadier bloom count. Disbud side buds on the leading stem when you want show-bench size, leave them on for garden color. Feed steadily through summer and keep water even as buds form. Cut in the cool of the morning when the back petals are still firm for the longest hold indoors.

Spacing
Space roughly 2–3 ft apart
Staking
Stake early — stems carry heavy blooms and lean in wind
