Incurved Cactus · 6.3–8"YellowRichard Parshall (2021)United States

Clearview Shannon is an incurved cactus dahlia that opens 6.3–8" blooms in yellow. On a late-summer cutting run, those pointed, inward-curving petals catch the light like a sunburst frozen in place. Shannon earns its spot in the Clearview line with a saturated, warm yellow that resists fading even in heat, paired with tight form that keeps the bloom presentable on show tables. It was bred in United States by Richard Parshall in 2021.

Growing Clearview Shannon

Stake at planting time, before the stems reach full height. Pinch at four sets of leaves to build strong lateral branches that each carry a show-quality head. Feed with a balanced fertilizer until buds form, then switch to low-nitrogen to keep the yellow saturated and clean. Cut stems when the outermost petals are fully open but the center still has some tightness for the best hold in water.

Spacing
Space roughly 2–3 ft apart
Staking
Stake early — stems carry heavy blooms and lean in wind
