Semi-Cactus · 6–8"WhiteRichard Parshall (2008)United States

Wide, spoon-tipped petals radiate from a tight center in clean white that shifts toward a soft lavender cast as the bloom ages in cooler light. That color-shift sets Clearview Orca apart on a crowded bench where solid whites blur together. Bred by Dick and Danielle Parshall of Snohomish, Washington, it carries the strong stem genetics that made Clearview Dahlias a go-to source for serious show growers across the Pacific Northwest. It was bred in United States by Richard Parshall in 2008.

Growing Clearview Orca

Stake plants when they reach knee height because six-foot growth in good soil means heavy stems that tip without support. Pinch at four leaf nodes to multiply laterals, then disbud to one bloom per stem for the cleanest show-quality heads. Cut blooms at three-quarters open for the longest hold, harvesting early in the day when stems carry the most water.

Spacing
Space about 3 ft apart
Staking
Stake early — stems carry heavy blooms and lean in wind
