Ferncliff Cameo was bred in Canada by David Jack in 2008. Apricot-pink outer petals shade toward a creamy inner heart, with each petal tip split and fringed to give the bloom a soft, feathery edge. Bred by David Jack at Ferncliff Gardens in British Columbia, it blooms early and keeps producing through the season on upright plants. Ferncliff Cameo is a laciniated dahlia that opens 4–6" blooms in pink.

Growing Ferncliff Cameo

Plant in full sun and stake early, as the plants reach shoulder height and carry a lot of blooms at once. Pinch when shoots are about a foot tall to encourage multiple strong stems from the base. Water consistently through summer heat and feed with a balanced fertilizer once growth is well established. Watch for aphids clustering on new growth, especially early in the season.
