The Dahlia Hub product image

Semi-Cactus Β· 10–12"RedKen Greenway (2022)United States

AC ATM is a semi-cactus dahlia that opens 10–12" blooms in red. Deep garnet flowers rise over the back of the border like slow fireworks, each one wide enough to shade the plants below. AC ATM builds its drama from sheer scale, opening bloom after bloom in a color that reads almost black at dusk. It was bred in United States by Ken Greenway in 2022.

Growing AC ATM

Stake early and tie in as the stems stretch, because these heavy heads will topple in a summer storm. Give it a spot with full sun, rich soil, and steady water once buds form. Disbud down to one bloom per stem if you want the full show-bench size, and cut in the cool of the morning.

Spacing
Space about 3 ft apart
Staking
Stake early β€” stems carry heavy blooms and lean in wind
