Bright burnt orange blooms glow against dark foliage from first flush to frost. The petals pick up a warmer ginger tone as nights cool, so the same plant reads slightly different in July than in September. Market growers reach for this one when they need a small, reliable orange that produces without fuss. It was bred in United States by Dick & Susan Ambrose in 2002.

Growing Camano Buz

Pinch the central shoot once your plants reach about a hand-span tall to force more branching. Space your tubers generously so air moves through the canopy. Disbud if you want cleaner stems for arrangements, or leave the side buds on for sprays.

Spacing: Space roughly 2–3 ft apart
Staking: Stake early — stems carry heavy blooms and lean in wind
