Growing Clearview Magic

Stake plants at planting time, as they routinely reach five feet and need firm support before stems thicken. Pinch the central shoot after three pairs of leaves to encourage strong branching and more blooms. Feed every two weeks with a low-nitrogen formula once buds form, and keep soil evenly moist through the growing season. Cut stems early in the morning when blooms are half to three-quarters open for the longest display.

Spacing
Space about 3 ft apart
Staking
Stake early — stems carry heavy blooms and lean in wind
