AC Roskelley dahlia bloom

The Dahlia Hub product image

Semi-Cactus Β· 10–11"LavenderKen Greenway (2017)United States

AC Roskelley was bred in United States by Ken Greenway in 2017. Late in the season, when most beds start to fade, these towering plants send up bloom after bloom in a lavender so clear it reads almost pink in evening light. An occasional white wolf petal streaks through the rays, giving each flower its own signature. It also holds its form on the show bench.

Growing AC Roskelley

Stake early and firmly, because these tall stalks carry heavy blooms that catch wind and rain. Disbud down to one flower per stem if you want huge exhibition heads, or let side buds run for a steadier supply of cutting stems. Give consistent water and a low nitrogen feed once buds set, and expect the richest color as nights cool toward the end of summer.
