Growing Jowey Louise

Stake your plants early, before stems start carrying weight, because tall plants lean in late-summer wind. Pinch the center stem when growth is about a foot tall to push side shoots and multiply your bud count. Cut stems when blooms are about halfway open for the longest display in the bucket. Feed with a low-nitrogen fertilizer once buds begin to form to keep color bright and stems sturdy.
