Growing Jowey Mirella
Plant your tubers after soil has warmed and all frost risk has passed, in a full-sun spot with well-drained soil. Pinch the central shoot when your plant reaches about knee height. This is the single most important step for encouraging the branching that drives heavy yields. Stake early, before the plant needs it, so roots are undisturbed. Deadhead consistently to keep blooms coming from midsummer through hard frost. The more you cut, the more your plant gives back.
