Growing Stiletto

Plant your tuber after your last frost date in a spot that gets full sun throughout the day. Pinch the center shoot when your plant has several sets of leaves to encourage strong branching and more blooms per plant. Deadhead spent flowers regularly to keep production going strong. Your plant performs best with consistent moisture and a low-nitrogen fertilizer applied regularly once buds begin to form. Stake early, as the tall stems can topple in wind.
