Flowers hold a clean rounded shape and lighten toward warmer tones as the season moves on, earning the RHS Award of Garden Merit and a regular spot on the show bench. It was bred in New Zealand by John Frater in 1997.

Growing Taratahi Ruby

Stake early because stems carry heavy heads on a tall bushy frame. Pinch at four leaves for a wider branching habit and more cutting stems. Feed through bud stage with a balanced fertiliser and water deeply in dry spells. Disbud side buds for the cleanest show blooms.
