Growing Alpen Bill

Stake early so stems stay upright as they gain height. Pinch the central shoot when seedlings are six to eight inches tall to encourage branching and a heavier stem count. Water deeply and consistently through warm spells to keep blooms crisp and full. Cut stems when petals are just fully open for maximum longevity in the bucket.

Spacing
Space roughly 2–3 ft apart
Staking
Stake early — stems carry heavy blooms and lean in wind
